We often think that playing is kids’ territory. While it’s true that kids are particularly skilled at the practice, they shouldn’t be the only ones having all the fun. If we make the kitchen a place where everyone can hang out and with spaces dedicated for kids to practice cookie cutting, sifting, kneading, shredding and other classic tasks for the youngest ones among us, we’ll quickly see kids taking the reins.
